The highly anticipated “Miniatures” exhibition is back at the Monterey Museum of Art opening October 2nd and we got an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour to give you a small of taste of what’s in store!

The Monterey Museum of Art's annual holiday fundraiser exhibition makes its return with a dynamic and diverse collection of paintings, prints, drawings, photographs and sculptures donated by some of Monterey County’s most talented artists including Warren Chang, Tracy Adams and Lucas Block. All 316 pieces are within a 7x9 size limit, hence the name "Miniatures" but don’t worry, those looking for a larger work of art can relish in the 11 “Big Ticket” pieces which are larger in size and valued at over $2,500 each.

Lucky art enthusiasts can get their hands on these one-of-a-kind Miniatures for just $5, or $25 for Big Ticket pieces. Choose your favorite mini-masterpiece and place your raffle ticket in the adjoining box for a chance to win. Tickets will be chosen at random and winners will be announced on the museum's website January 22,2016. All proceeds benefit the Monterey Museum Art and their education programs.

Miniatures will be open October 2nd - January 15th, 2016 and is free to the public on opening day, October 2.

The Monterey Museum of Art is open Thursday-Monday from 11am to 5pm.
