Catch a glimpse of a celeb, or two, at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am all weekend long! This annual golf tournament features an all-star lineup of both pros and celebrities, making it as much fun for serious duffers as it is autograph seekers and star gazers. Buster Posey, Josh Duhamel, Ray Romano and Bill Murray are all scheduled to tee off at the legendary links throughout Pebble Beach. Wednesday-Sunday. Pebble Beach. Various ticket prices.

Head to the Golden Bough Theatre in Carmel-by-the-Sea this weekend for a rendition of comic opera, Pirates of Penzance. The hilarious farce follows young Frederic, an orphan who has mistakenly been apprenticed to an ineffectual by a raucous band of pirates. Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2pm. Saturday

Enjoy a heart-healthy hike this morning with cardiologist Dr. Steve Brabeck. Today he sets out for a 3 mile hike beginning at The Quail & Olive in Carmel Valley. After the scenic jaunt head back into the shop for heart healthy olive oil samplings and blood pressure tests. 9:30am-11am. 3 Pilot Road, Carmel Valley. Free event.

Hit the road with your sweetie in hand for the River Road Wine Trail Valentine's Day Passport! Taste your way around 10 of the artisan wineries in the stunningly scenic Salinas Valley. Lovebirds will receive a souvenir glass, entry into a grand drawing, special discounts, food and all things amour. River Road, Salinas Valley. 11am-4pm. $45.

Learn about the science of seduction and strange animal mating rituals during the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History's Night Owl event. This fun (and adult) event will be full of live music, beverages and strange romance. 7pm. 165 Forest Avenue, Pacific Grove. $15.

Enjoy the fresh air with a rigorous hike through the Veeder Trail at Garland Ranch with guides from the Monterey Peninsula Regional Parks District. The 4 mile hike through the redwood canyon is expected to last 3-4 hours. Don't forget to wear good hiking shoes and to bring water and snacks. 10am. East Garzas Trailhead, Carmel, Valley. Take in the sounds of the Philharmonia Chamber Players led by Elizabeth Blumenstock, on the violin and Gonzalo Ruiz on the oboe this afternoon at the Sunset Center. 3pm. San Carlos St at Ninth Ave., Carmel-by-the-Sea. $40-$55.
