Feathered Friends at the Monterey Bay Aquarium

Celebrate the weekend before Thanksgiving with all kinds of birds at the Monterey Bay Aquarium! Get in-depth information about the personal lives of the Laysan albatross, great horned owl, kite, Harris hawk, turkey vulture, the popular black-footed penguin, and many more birds at "Feathered Friends" weekend.

Presentations will give you the inside dirt on where birds nest, how they live, and what they eat — and special feeding shows will give you a visual demonstration of their dining habits. One lucky child will even get to pet a penguin as part of the "Meet the Penguin" program! Kids can indulge their avian-inspired creativity in the craft room.
