Many of Monterey County's finest wineries have tasting rooms located right on Cannery Row, and a fun afternoon can be spent tasting wines while visiting the many other shops and attractions between them. Ventana Vineyards, meanwhile, is located close to Monterey Peninsula Airport. A stop at their Monterey tasting room is a perfect way to begin or end your vacation.
Far-flung Monterey County wineries like Scheid Vineyards, Bargetto Winery and Baywood Cellars bring the flavors of Monterey County directly to you at their tasting rooms on Cannery Row. Shops that focus on local wines, such as A Taste of Monterey and Wines from the Heart offer daily tastings from a range of wineries. All are accessible by an easy walk along Cannery Row and the Recreation Trail.
