All four were among celebrities who have participated in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am golf tournament. Featuring an all-star line-up of pros and celebrities, this annual golf tournament is as much fun for serious duffers as it is autograph-seekers and star gazers. The 2010 event will be held February 8-14.
Showcasing the talent and character of young people who participate at The First Tee facilities worldwide, the Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach (Labor Day weekend) is a World Golf Foundation initiative helping young people develop values such as honesty, integrity and sportsmanship through golf and education.
Founded in 1972, the Callaway Golf Pebble Beach Invitational (November 17-22, 2009) has long claimed a unique place as the world's only tournament that matches players from the PGA, the LPGA, the Champions, and Nationwide Tours in head-to-head competition for the same purse. What’s more, each day, teams of four amateurs are matched with a different pro. This year, the action will be found on Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Del Monte Golf Course.
The site of Tiger Woods’ historic win at the 2000 U.S. Open Championship, Pebble Beach Golf Links will once again host the championship in 2010, marking the fourth U.S. Open Championship to be held at Pebble Beach. The event is staged by the United States Golf Association and is one of golf’s four major championships.
