What if We Do Not Partner with OTA's?

We do not have a relationship with Travelocity. How does it work?

To make your accommodation inventory or attraction passes available on Travelocity, you must first agree to be their partner. With no sign up fee, you enter into a partnership agreement with them, and upload net rates, inventory and information onto the Travelocity extranet. Travelocity then adds and keeps a margin (commonly 25%) to your rate, and promotes your inventory on their website. When room nights or passes are booked, you receive immediate payment. For more information, please contact Travelocity's Diego Acosta at 415-932-1214 or diego.acosta@travelocity.com for more information.

We work with Travelocity, but don't want to advertise in the MCCVB's fall program...

If a member does not choose to buy into the program and they are Travelocity affiliates, potential visitors will still be able to book their hotel rooms or attraction tickets through the booking engine widget that will be established on the Travelociy/Monterey County destination landing page.

We are not interested in working with an OTA. How does this promotion help our business?

The MCCVB is inviting its members to participate in a free promotion (detailed here). The Travelocity landing page that is live in August, September and October will link back to the CVB's landing page at www.SeeMonterey.com/Escapes. These combined traffic streams will provide your business with the opportunity to get in front of thousands of potential visitors. Think your offer through, and take advantage!
