The MCCVB is seeking participation in the 12th annual televised Travel & Leisure Auction, to be aired live on KRCB. The PBS television station broadcasts to an audience of 2.4 million in the San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties as well as the East Bay of San Francisco.
The auction will air Friday, April 17 through Sunday, April 19 and Friday April 24 through Sunday April 26, 2009. A separate auction, "Summer Spree,” will be broadcast July 10 through 12, 2009.
Areas of interest include:
Packages featuring 4 to 6 items offer the most exposure for each individual donor. The MCCVB will accept pre-packaged promotions. The higher the retail value of the package, the more television exposure. For example, each package might contain lodging, dining, local attractions, tours, events and shopping. Not able to offer a package containing all these items? Don’t worry; the MCCVB will also pair auction items together in order to secure the most exposure. The KRCB non-profit tax ID# is 94-2718837.
