From June 24 to June 26, 2011 Monterey becomes the center of the blues world when the Monterey Bay Blues Festival takes over the Monterey Fairgrounds. Now in its 26h year, the Monterey Bay Blues Festival is one of the top blues festivals in the United States.

Schedule
The music at the Monterey Bay Blues Festival begins at 7:00 on Friday, and continues on three stages throughout the evening. This is just the appetizer for a weekend that's packed with blues music. Saturday's performances kick off at 10:30am, and don't stop until 11:30pm. Musicians take to the stage Sunday at 10:45am, and keep going past 10pm.
With so many performers playing on three separate stages, you can't see everything! Plan in advance by referring to the schedule on the official Monterey Bay Blues Festival website.

Monterey's restaurants range from casual to upscale, with a focus on fresh ingredients and local seafood.
Tickets
Tickets for the Monterey Bay Blues Festival are just $75 for a three-day grounds pass. Not in town for three days? You can purchase Friday grounds passes for $25, and Saturday and grounds passes for $30 for each day. If you want to catch the headliners on the big stage, you must buy an arena pass!
