Salinas Valley Fair
May 13-16, 2010
Come on out to the Salinas Valley Fair from 10am to 10pm on Thursday, May 13 through Sunday, May 16. Experience a traditional country fair with horse shows, a rodeo, bull riding, fair food and the Miss Salinas Valley Fair contest.
Competitions And Athletic Events
It wouldn't be a true country fair without contests in the arena to see who is the best in roping and riding! On Friday watch as contestants compete in team roping, break away roping, double muggin and wild cow milking. Saturday is a nail-biter as riders try to stay glued to their steeds' backs during the barrel race and bull riding. The Stampede Grounds is taken over on Sunday by Jaripeo, the Mexican Rodeo.
