32nd Steinbeck Festival, "A Voice," will look at Steinbeck and other writers, musicians and artists who give a voice to stories, hopes and dreams.
Talks and Panels
The 32nd Steinbeck Festival features several talks including "Steinbeck and Social Upheaval" by Susan Shillinglaw, "Working Class Voices and Steinbeck" by Persis Karim and many more. Panels to include topics in "The Power of Music," "Making a Place Live: Yosemite in Writing, Art, and Music" and more.
Tours
Check out some of Steinbeck's old stomping grounds during one of the offered tours.Curious visitors can tour John Steinbeck's home in Salinas or Ed Ricketts' Lab on Cannery Row. Other tours include the Red Pony Ranch Tour and Steinbeck Country Ag Tour.
