From June 22 to June 24, 2012 Monterey becomes the center of the blues world when the Monterey Bay Blues Festival takes over the Monterey Fairgrounds & Exposition Center. Now in its 27th year, the Monterey Bay Blues Festival is one of the top blues festivals in the United States.

Schedule

The music at the Monterey Bay Blues Festival begins at 7:00pm on Friday, and continues on three stages throughout the evening. This is just the appetizer for a weekend that's packed with blues music. Saturday's performances kick off at 11:30am, and don't stop until 11:30pm. Musicians take to the stage Sunday at 1:00pm, and keep going past 8pm.

Tickets for the Monterey Bay Blues Festival are just $150 for a three-day grounds pass. Not in town for three days? You can purchase grounds passes for each day.
