Skateboarding

Skateboarding is not a crime!
And in Monterey, boarders have their own special park, located behind Dennis the Menace Park on the edge of Lake El Estero. Challenging ramps and steep rounded corners make this an excellent place to practice turns and jumps.

Please note: skateboards are not allowed on the waterfront recreation trail. However, in-line skates are welcome. Helmets are strongly recommended!
