AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am

February 8-14, 2010

Kevin Costner, Stone Phillips, Don Cheadle and Tom Brady. What does this foursome have in common? All four are among celebrities who have played the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am golf tournament, played at Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and the Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore course. This annual golf tournament features an all-star line-up of both pros and celebrities, making it as much fun for serious duffers as it is autograph-seekers and star gazers.

The $6.4 million purse leads to some serious competition! Previous winners of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am include Dustin Johnson, Steve Lowery, Phil Mickelson (three times), Vijay Singh, Tiger Woods, Payne Stewart, Fuzzy Zoeller, Tom Kite, and Jack Nicklaus (three times).

The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am has evolved into one of the most prestigious stops on the PGA Tour since it was started by singer Bing Crosby in 1937. Run almost entirely by volunteers—many of whom work year-round—the tournament is also one of the Peninsula's largest fundraisers, doling out a whopping six million dollars to local non-profits and other youth-oriented charities each year.
