At their last meeting, the MCCVB Board of Directors approved $100,000 to market Big Sur from funds that became available through negotiated savings in Fiscal Year 2016 - 2017. These funds will go toward hosting media, creating and printing menu and check-in packet inserts for members, paid advertising, filming B-roll footage to share with media, as well as social and digital campaigns. The MCCVB continues to post Big Sur travel recommendations and updates on and is committed to seeing Big Sur through its recovery.
