Jon Anderson is an underwater photographer based in San Francisco who calls Monterey his weekend home. With over 170 dives logged in Monterey over the last 3 years Jon has had many amazing underwater experiences and encounters in the region. He is passionate about capturing the underwater beauty and diversity of these cold local waters. Though a majority of his underwater photography occurs locally, he also loves traveling the world in search of unique marine subject photo opportunities. When he is not in the water, Jon works as a mechanical engineer, designing robots and spacecraft.
