Oktoberfest Monterey Bay

It's simply not fall until you have been to an Oktoberfest and Monterey's rendition is no joke. The Barnyard Shopping Village in Carmel turns into a mini-Munich with mouth-watering German food and beers, fun filled activities including Dachshund races, Ms. Oktoberfest contests and live music. Tickets are $20 and kicks off at noon.


Harvest Happy Hour

Saturday, September 21

Cima Collina celebrates California wine month with a special Harvest Happy Hour. Join the wine making team for barrel tastes, new releases and a sneak peak at the new adjacent tasting room. Harvest Happy Hour runs 4pm-6pm and tickets are $20.

Saturday, September 29

Bask in the bounty of fall at Quail Lodge during the 4th Annual Celebration of Harvest. This food and wine event features over a dozen local wineries and restaurants, as well as live entertainment and wine making demonstrations. Tickets are $85 in advance and $95 at the door.

Saturday, October 6

Kick off the harvest season and bring the kiddos out to The Farm in the Salinas Valley. Their Fall Festival features live puppet shows at 10:30am and 11:30am, pumpkin races at 12pm, free hayrides until 2pm and cow-train rides for $5.

A bountiful Harvest Feast is going down at Joullian Vineyards today. Their Cachagua winery in the heart of Carmel Valley will play host to tractor tours, barrel tastings, a delicious lunch, games, prizes and more! The event runs 11am-4pm and tickets are $55 in advance.

Meet the Makers

Saturday, October 13

Meet Carmel-by-the-Sea artists and local winemakers along the Carmel Art Walk at the first ever "Meet the Makers" event. Stroll through charming downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and meet the artists who carry on the artist colony legacy and tour their galleries, while sipping Monterey County wines. Look for the blue lanterns to find participating art galleries! The free event runs from 5pm to 8pm. Wine tastings are $10.

Hahn Harvest Celebration

Saturday, October 13

Hahn Family Wines invites you to experience the fruits of their labor, and incredible views of the Salinas Valley, during their annual Harvest Celebration. Here you can sip on delicious wines, indulge in a pig roast and buffet, listen to live music and enjoy walking tours of the winery from 11am-3pm.

The Barnyard Shopping Village in Carmel celebrates Halloween and Harvest this afternoon with a fun family festival. Stroll through its unique boutique shops and enjoy a costume parade, candy, pony rides, face painting, balloon twisting, giveaways, kids crafts and live music provided by the Dave Holodiloff Band. This free event starts at 2pm.
