Work on your ice skating skills out at the rink at Custom House Plaza this weekend. Ice Skating by the Bay is even open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Monday-Saturday from 11am-10pm and Sunday from 12pm-8pm. 4 Custom House Plaza, Monterey. $12 for adults and $10 for children. Skate rentals are $3.
Grab those last minute Christmas gifts at the Del Monte Center while being spoiled with live music. Don’t miss performances from Carmel Strings, Jim Fucillo, the Cypressaires and Christmas carolers. Balloon artists and Santa Claus will also be making the rounds for the little ones. Friday- Sunday. 1410 Del Monte Center, Monterey. Free event.
The Museum of Monterey brings you Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin in the thriller movie “Wait Until Dark.” Come early and enjoy the museum’s exhibits before catching this classic flick. 7pm, 5 Custom House Plaza, Monterey. $5.
Children will be delighted with scenes from the Nutcracker today at Carmel Valley Ranch. Children of all ages will enjoy learning sword play, dance moves, and of course, mouse moves. Each child will receive a special gift to take home and a photo to capture this memory for years to come.
