Carmel Valley Art & Wine Celebration
Is Dad a wine connoisseur? Surprise him with two tickets to the Carmel Valley Art & Wine Celebration on Saturday, June 20th. Carmel Valley Villages will be sprawling with various tastings from award-winning local wineries, several art exhibits and plenty of live music! Wine tasting tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door.
Run in the Name of Love 5K
Show your Dad how much he means to you by participating in the Run in the Name of Love 5K in Carmel-by-the-Sea. The 5K run begins at 8:30 a.m. at Carmel's historic Sunset Center and follows a coastal path alongside sandy white beaches and the dramatic Pacific Ocean, with a finish celebration at Carmel's Ocean Beach. All runners and walkers are encouraged to run in the name of someone they love, either as a memorial to a loved one or as a tribute to someone who is loved in life.

Carmel Valley's Bernardus Lodge & Spa features a Father's Day BBQ with free range chicken, natural Angus beef hamburgers, artisan sausages, country potato salad, organic green salad and corn-on-the-cob. After lunch, families are welcome to enjoy the bocce and croquet lawn. The barbecue buffet is $45 for adults (13 and up), $20 for children (five to 12) and free for children under 5. Montrio Bistro in downtown Monterey knows that a way to a father’s heart is beer and pork. Today they feature a special beer flight of three local brews for only a buck! Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach hosts it’s first-ever Father’s Day Blues Festival in the Forest. The musical event will feature the J.C. Smith Band, Monterey Jazz Festival’s Monterey County All-Star Combo, and the B.B. King Tribute Band. What is a Father’s Day event without good food and drinks? Executive Chef Johnny De Vivo of Porter's in the Forest will be cooking up all sorts of culinary delights which will pair nicely with Mad Otter Beer Garden and Ketel One Courtyard.
