This just in! The Monterey Museum of Art is offering FREE admission to everyone at both locations now through December 31, 2011. The Monterey Museum of Art currently features some of the most amazing exhibitions it has ever brought to the area, making free admission an especially wonderful holiday gift from the Monterey Museum of Art to the art-loving community.
Don't miss this opportunity to check out the museum's "Pop Icons" exhibition, at the La Mirada location, featuring masterpieces from Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. As you tour both locations, you can also explore edgy work from local artist Paul Roehl, rare paintings by pioneering abstract expressionist John Haley, epic murals by Gottardo Piazzoni, a showing of masterworks from internationally renowned local artists such as Charles Rollo Peters and Armin Hansen, and more!
The Monterey Museum of Art has two locations in Monterey, 559 Pacific Street and 720 Via Mirada. Both museums are open Wednesday-Saturday from 11am-5pm and Sunday from 1pm-4pm.
