PacRep’s Family Musical season begins with Dreamworks’ Madagascar Live, A Musical Adventure!, playing February 2 - 26, at the Golden Bough Theatre. Based on the smash DreamWorks animated film, Madagascar became known worldwide for the song favorite "I Like to Move it.”

PacRep's production features guest artists from the community, and over 20 'stars of tomorrow'  from the company's School of Dramatic Arts (SoDA), under the direction of Stephen Moorer, with choreography by Devin Adler, and musical direction by Don Dally.

Based on DreamWorks’ animated film, the story  is filled with an assortment of penguins, lemurs, and the dreaded Foosa, and features crack-a-lackin’ friends Marty the zebra (Michael Blackburn), Alex the lion (Gracie Balistreri), Gloria the hippo (Christiana Meeks), Melman the giraffe (Cameron Leavitt), and Skipper the penguin (Stephen Poletti), as they escape from their cozy home at New York’s Central Park Zoo, and find themselves in the madcap world of King Julien the lemur (Andrew Mansour)!
