All Weekend

Extraordinary chefs and winemakers from around the globe converge at Pebble Beach this weekend for a culinary experience of a lifetime. Pebble Beach Food & Wine kicks off on Thursday, March 31st with four days jam-packed with cooking demonstrations, wine seminars, delectable lunches and intimate dinner parties. The Lexus Grand Tasting event features over 300 wines and dozens of notable chefs on Saturday and Sunday. Thursday-Sunday. Pebble Beach. Various ticket prices.


Drive inland this morning for an event that will take you back in time. Mission Days at the Mission San Antonio de Padua in Jolon hosts all sorts of historical re-enactors, arts and crafts, carriage rides and a delicious lunch. 11am-3pm. End of Mission Rd, Fort Hunter Liggett. Admission is $10 per car.


Don’t miss the first-ever “Pilates Party in the Park: Bagpipes, Serra and Fusian” at the Lower Lower Presidio Historic Park in Monterey. This unique event will include all sorts of activities including a Pilates demonstration and 30 minute classes by Pilates Monterey, a performance by the award-winning Pipe Major Michel d’Avenas, plus delicious food for purchase from the popular Fusian Street Food Truck. 11:30am-1:30pm. Head to sunny Carmel Valley this afternoon for a performance from The String Orchestra of Hidden Valley. Today they perform works by Fritz Kreisler, Dag Wirén, Jean Sibelius, and Edvard Grieg with soprano soloist Laura Anderson.
