All Weekend 

Calling all foodies and winos! The most wonderful time of the year has arrived as world -renowned chefs and wineries collide on the Monterey Peninsula for Pebble Beach Food & Wine. The four day foodie soiree includes an array of themed lunches, dinner and tastings from celebrity chefs like Roy Yamaguchi, Daniel Boulud, Elizabeth Falkner and many more. Thursday- Sunday. For a heart-warming family event head to a performance of Annie at the Golden Bough Playhouse in Carmel-by-the-Sea. This fun rendition features young local actors and timeless songs like “Tomorrow” and “Hard Knock Life.” Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 2pm and 7:30pm and Sunday at 2pm. Step back in time and attend Mission San Antonio’s annual Mission Days. The historic and family-friendly event includes historical re-enactors portraying soldiers, artisans, vaqueros, musicians and dancers as well as mission crafts like rope making and mission era food. 11am-3pm. 1 Mission Road, Jolon. $10 per car.

Uncork your creativity and Paint with Dali17. Paint, canvas and brushes are provided as an experienced local artist leads you through the process of unleashing your inner Salvador Dali. 4pm. 5 Custom House Plaza, Monterey. $35.

The Sunset Center comes alive tonight as The Enso String Quartet takes the stage playing works from Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Paul Moravec. 8pm. San Carlos St at Ninth Ave, Carmel-by-the-Sea. $52.

After a busy weekend (especially if you’ve been attending Pebble Beach Food & Wine) a stretch is just what you need! Join Bravo TV Star Craig Ramsey today in the Barrel Room at Folktale Vineyards for a stretching and wine tasting experience to mellow you out before Monday hits. 2pm-4pm. 8940 Carmel Valley Road. $60.

For another relaxing event, join Monterey Bay Meditation Studios at Rip Van Winkle Open Space in Pacific Grove for “Forest Bathing.” The practice of shinrin-yoku (“Forest Bathing”) is a form of guided nature meditation, an “immersion” into the space of trees, plants and inhabitants of the forest. 3pm-4:30pm. 1072 Congress Avenue, Pacific Grove.
