Pacific Grove’s beloved Feast of Lanterns returns this weekend! On Friday you can enjoy an adorable Pet Parade along Lighthouse Avenue followed by the Feast of Dancing celebration at Caledonia Park. Saturday is the main event which features children's activities, food booths, live entertainment, a theatrical pageant and a fireworks display all at Lovers Point. Friday-Saturday. Pacific Grove. California’s oldest music festival, the Carmel Bach Festival, celebrates its rich history with 15 days of performances, talks and educational events. As always, the focus is on J.S. Bring the kids to an entertaining rendition of Disney’s “Newsies” this weekend at the Golden Bough Theater in Carmel. This Tony Award Winner for Best Musical follows New York City's newsboys as they strike against unfair working conditions. Thursday-Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2pm. Start off your weekend on the right foot with a free walking tour at Asilomar Conference Grounds. The 75 minute hike showcases historic highlights of the iconic property. Saturday and Sunday at 10am. 800 Asilomar Avenue, Pacific Grove. Free event.

Get your bloom on with a scenic wildflower hike through the Asilomar Dunes Natural Preserve. During the docent led hike you will learn about common wildflowers in the area and the ecosystem of the dunes. Saturday and Sunday at 1:30pm-2:30pm. 800 Asilomar Avenue, Pacific Grove. Free event. 


Spend your Friday evenings at Carmel Plaza and enjoy fantastic live music, premier local wine and beer as well as samplings of savory appetizers from local restaurants. Today's Summer Live Music series features music from Red Beans & Rice, wine tastings from Blair Estates Wines and bites from Pescadero Mexican Restaurant. 5pm-7pm. Moss Landing becomes the antique capital of the world today for their Annual Street Fair. Hundreds of antique booths set up on the streets of Moss Landing selling antique furniture and every kind of vintage item imaginable. Food and drink vendors will also be serving up delicious items all day long .8am-5pm. Moss Landing Road, Moss Landing. $5 for adults and free for those 12 and under.
