Relais & Châteaux GourmetFest is a four day foodie extravaganza featuring an exclusive roster of Relais & Châteaux Chefs and wine estates based at L'Auberge Carmel and La Playa in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Events include an opening night welcome party, cooking demos, wine tastings, off-site tours combined with exciting lunches, featured chefs, world-class wine dinners, rarities dinner and a closing party at La Playa. Jung-Ho Pak conducts the Monterey Symphony at the Sunset Center during their fourth concert of the ‘Sound Waves’ season. The performance will include works by Tan Dun, Shostakovich and Alan Hovhaness. Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm. San Carlos Street at Ninth Avenue, Carmel-by-the-Sea. $43-$84.

Monterey Symphony

Ahoy mateys! Tap into your inner Jack Sparrow as not one, but two Tall Ships dock at Old Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey.
