The professional Trans-Am racing series makes it maiden visit to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca with pro drivers competing in modern-day race-prepped Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes and Vipers. The adrenaline doesn’t stop there, the track will also host historic and vintage race cars from the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association. Friday-Sunday. 1021 Monterey-Salinas Highway. Today the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History holds a free opening reception for their Illustrating Nature exhibit which features stunning art installations from students at CSU Monterey Bay. 5:30pm-7:30pm. 165 Forest Avenue, Pacific Grove. Free event.
