The two-day festival features all sorts of activities including tours of Ed “Doc” Ricketts’ Lab, walking tours, a California Constitutional Convention reenactment, Civil War encampment and more. Shakespeare's “Twelfth Night” comes to the Outdoor Forest Theater in Carmel-by-the-Sea for the last show of the season. Thursday-Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3pm. Mountain View & Santa Rita, Carmel. $20 for adults and $8 for children.


Unwind after the busy work week with a glass of wine, live music and an incredible views during “Sunset on the Deck” at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove. Tonight’s featured artist is Johan Sotelo. 6:30pm. 800 Asilomar Avenue, Pacific Grove. Free admission.

Kick off the harvest season and bring the kiddos out to The Farm this morning. Their Fall Festival features live puppet shows at 10:30am and 11:30am, pumpkin races at 12pm, free hayrides until 1pm and cow-train rides for $5. 10:30am. Spreckles Boulevard West at Highway 68, Salinas. Free event.

Get a peek into the Monterey Bay Aquarium’ Research Institute (MBARI) during their Open House event today. Get ready and get set for the Greenfield Harvest Festival today! The fun-filled day kicks off with a 5K Run, followed by a parade at 11:15am. There will also be a ton of live music, dancing, arts and crafts, food and more. 8:30am-5pm. Oak Street at El Camino Real, Greenfield. $5-$20 for the 5K Run.
