Things kick off on Thursday with a Bohemian Ball at the Carmel Mission featuring a variety of local restaurants and wineries. Mazda Racway Laguna Seca is buzzing with excitement all weekend long during the Pirelli World Championship. The popular series features over 100 cars from more than 15 manufacturers for six classes of competition. Friday-Sunday. 1021 Monterey Salinas Hwy, Salinas. $30-$60.

Shakespeare's “Twelfth Night” comes to the Outdoor Forest Theater in Carmel-by-the-Sea for the last show of the season. Thursday-Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3pm. Mountain View & Santa Rita, Carmel. $20 for adults and $8 for children.

“The Original Iron Chef” Jacques Pépin and his daughter Claudine Pépin make an appearance at the Sunset Center for one unforgettable evening.
