All Weekend

Dust off that cowboy hat and grab your boots for the California Rodeo Salinas! Wednesday kicks off the rodeo ground action with Professional Bull Riding followed by “Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night” on Thursday. Bach has taken over Carmel-by-the-Sea for an incredible line-up of concerts, talks and educational events. The hub of the Carmel Bach Festival takes place at the Sunset Center while other events are spread out throughout the Monterey Peninsula. Various venues and ticket prices.

Today the Monterey County Fair & Event Center transforms into Americanaland with nationally known Americana music artists. The Americana Festival features performances by Paul Thorn, Jim Lauderdale, and The Americans as well as food and craft vendors. 11am. 2004 Fairground Road, Monterey. $30 in advance and $40 at the door.

Comedian Rodney Carrington stops by Sherwood Hall this evening for not one but two hilarious shows. Rodney will take the stage with his colorful antics as part of the California Rodeo Salinas. 6pm and 9pm. 940 N. Main Street, Salinas. $32-$62.
