Once again, dates collide to bring together Monterey County's chocolate and peanut butter, otherwise known as the romance of Valentine's Day and the quiet testosterone of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. (Yes, for those of you out there in Internet World, that makes the AT&T the peanut butter.)
If you're attending the AT&T, don't miss our new, improved and updated Insider's Guide to the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. This document tells you where to catch the shuttles, where to go to see the celebrities, where to stand to watch the play, and most importantly, how not to get thrown out of this great event.
This weekend's coolest art opening is at (surprise!) the Monterey Peninsula Airport. The Trash to Treasures Art Show is a tour of the history of found art through works formerly featured at Berkeley's Aimes Gallery. 5pm-7pm, 200 Fred Kane Drive, Monterey. Free.
See new and intriguing works by local playwrights at the Fearless Mind Theatrical's Original Works Festival.
