Carmel Plaza’s summer concert series Concerts in Carmel continues tonight with Lisa Taylor and SoulCity. Lisa and her 5-piece band will perform famous R&B, pop, rock and soul jams. For those who purchase a food/beverage ticket, the event will be paired with beverage tastings from Wrath Wines and Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing and food will be provided by Bistro Beaujolais. 5pm-7pm, Ocean Avenue & Mission Street, Carmel. The Henry Miller Library gets freaky tonight as it rolls out the carpet for “Freaks and Femmes.” The evening will be full of burlesque, cabaret, music and mayhem! The events will begin with a burlesque class for beginners at 5pm and a cocktail hour will follow at 6:30pm. The main show will begin at 8:30pm with a slew of international burlesque and cabaret stars. 5pm-10pm, Highway One, Big Sur. Tickets are $20.
