Artist Johnny Apodaca gives a lecture at the Monterey Museum of Art this evening discussing his “plein-air” (open-air) techniques. Johnny particularly loves the Monterey Bay for his plein air flare as he can easily bring his easel, brushes and paints to just about anywhere and observe nature’s beauty. 5pm-7pm, 559 Pacific Street, Monterey. Guides will also be taking visitors on a River Walk through Garland Ranch Park. The 3.5 mile hike is expected to last 3 hours.
