The Smuin Ballet presents their Spring program at the Sunset Center in Carmel-by-the-Sea this weekend! The program will include the romantic ballet Momentum, a ballet set to Mozart’s "Requiem" by choreographer Amy Seiwert and To the Beatles which will be set to famous Beatles hits including “Help,” “Day Tripper” and “Come Together.” Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm and 8pm. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the treasures of the ocean, the threats it faces and what we can do to keep it healthy. Special activities include live musical performances, kids' activities, a family craft room, readings of Dr. Seuss’s One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, sustainable cooking demos and much more! Pacific Grove will hold its monthly Wine, Art & Music Walk tonight throughout the quaint Victorian town. The tour will take visitors to the city’s finest art venues. Join Paraiso Vineyards in Soledad for the 2nd Annual Winery Walk. The 5-mile morning walk will wander throughout the scenic terrain on Paraiso property. After the walk participants and friends are welcome for a post-walk event including brunch, a Farmers’ Market, exercise demos, a wine reception and more! Funds raised during the event will go towards scholarships to agricultural employee’s children, support for research efforts through the American Vineyard Foundation and support for other charities throughout the community. The Henry Miller Library in Big Sur will host a special concert by Camper Van Beethoven tonight! If you were an alternative kid in the ‘80s, you listened to your cassingles of “Take the Skinheads Bowling” and “Pictures of Matchstick Men” until they wore out. If you’re a little younger, you’ve probably heard the Sublime cover of “Eye of Fatima” or Teenage Fanclub’s version of “Take the Skinheads Bowling.” Tonight, Camper Van Beethoven will play their epic ‘80s album, “Key Lime Pie,” in full. 6pm, Highway 1, Big Sur.
