Ever want to sail on the open seas like a true pirate? Now is your chance! The Tall Ship Lady Washington (which was featured on Pirates of the Caribbean) is docking in Moss Landing for walk-on tours and voyages. Ahoy! November 8-17, 7881 Sandholdt Road, Moss Landing. $3 for tour and $39 for sailing voyages.

Load up on all sorts of athletic gear during the Big Sur Half Marathon Expo at the Monterey Conference Center. Over 40 vendors will be on hand showing and selling the latest in fitness and health-related products. Participants in the Half Marathon, the Pacific Grove Lighthouse 5K and the Just Run Kids 3K can also pick up their bib numbers and other event goodies. Friday from 12pm-6pm and Saturday from 9am-6pm. 1 Portola Plaza, Monterey. Free event.

Legendary singer and songwriter Graham Nash is at the Sunset Center tonight accompanied by James Raymond on the keyboard and Shane Fontayne on the guitar. On your mark, get set, go! Runners take off bright and early this morning in downtown Monterey for the Big Sur Half Marathon. Thousands of competitors take to the scenic streets for 13.1 miles of beautiful views finishing out at the Custom House Plaza. 7am, Monterey and Pacific Grove. Free for spectators.
