Cherry's Jubilee kicks it old school this weekend where classic cars, hot rods and motorcycles parade down Monterey County's most scenic roads. Spectators can view the vintage wheels on Friday at the Waterfront parking lot near Fisherman's Wharf and Saturday at Cannery Row, Pacific Grove and the Waterfront parking lot. Thursday-Sunday. The adobes that make Monterey so unique and rich in history open their doors this weekend during the Art in the Adobes Festival. The three day cultural festival is full of art exhibitions, lectures, art demonstrations, music and living history for the next generation of artists and historians. An opening reception kicks things off on Friday, September 13th at Orientations in Monterey. Friday-Sunday. Monterey. Crazy triathletes from around the globe converge on Lovers Point for the Triathlon at Pacific Grove. The triathlon offers a full Olympic distance triathlon, a sprint distance triathlon, and a 5K and 10K Fun Run along one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline. Friday-Sunday. Don't miss the comedic performance of The Imaginary Invalid at Circle Theatre this weekend. The zany play takes a stab at the 17th century health care industry and one man's quest to marry his daughter off to a doctor. 7:30pm Thursday-Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. Pick up some unique art and jewelry on Old Fisherman's Wharf this weekend. The Monterey Bay HarvestFest Arts & Crafts Faire hosts over 50 juried artists showcasing their craft alongside great food and live music. Saturday and Sunday from 9am-5pm. 4 Custom House Plaza, Monterey. Free event.

September means Oktoberfest in Germany and in Monterey! This Saturday and Sunday head to the Monterey County Fair & Event Center for a truly Munich meets Monterey experience. Learn about some of the native seeds on the Monterey Peninsula during a hike with the Monterey Peninsula Regional Parks District. Hikers will set out at the Marina Dunes Preserve for a native seed gathering. 10am, Dunes Drive, Marina. Free event.

Set out on a 3.5 mile hike with guides from the Monterey Peninsula Regional Parks District for a jaunt through Garland Ranch's Waterfall, Mesa and Maple Canyon trails. The sunny deck at the Big Sur River Inn hosts Andrea's Fault this afternoon. The three-piece jazz band breaks all the rules and plays everything from rock n' roll to classical. 1pm-5pm, 46840 Highway One, Big Sur. Free event.
