Saturday, February 11 Cupid and his buddies have planned a date to remember out at the River Road Wine Trail. The Valentine's Passport grants lovers access to fourteen different wineries and tasting rooms along the scenic River Road Wine Trial. Each venue will host a special tasting paired with tasty treats. The day begins at 11am and ends at 4pm. Passports are $30. The Bernadus Lodge in Carmel Valley plays host to a Sweetheart's Luncheon full of amour. Guests will start things off with a glass of champagne before preparing their own box of chocolate truffles under the Pastry Chef's guidance. Afterwards a grand buffet full of rilled organic vegetables, artisan cheeses, natural prime beef and local seafood will be complimented with Bernardus wines. The luncheon begins at 11am. Take your sweetie to the Sardine Factory for Valentine's Day. In addition to serving regular menu items guests can also enjoy special Valentine's Day offerings. Sweethearts can choose entrees like slow roasted prime rib, Maine lobster or both! Call 831-373-3775 for reservations. Saturday-Sunday, February 18 & 19 Forgot about Valentine's Day? Now is your chance to make it up to that special someone by bringing them to Chateau Julien for Red Wine and Chocolates. The weekend will serve up just red wine and chocolates in their beautiful tasting room in Carmel Valley. Tastings are $12.
