The MCCVB team has been out visiting member businesses and we want make sure we don’t miss you! Member Visits are typically 30-45 minutes and give you the opportunity to educate the team on your offerings and how we can best support you.

Don’t have time for a formal visit? That’s ok! Every month we highlight up to three members at a Virtual Meet-A-Member, giving each of them dedicated time to talk about their business and answer any questions from the team.

The last two years have been extremely challenging for Monterey County and our tourism and hospitality industry. But we know that when we work together, we can overcome challenges and emerge from crisis better and stronger than before.  Thank you to everyone that has supported our strategic planning process.  We appreciate the time you took to answer our survey and participate in the interview and input forum process. The result of this plan will be a clear path forward in implementing strategies that better serve our visitors, residents, & stakeholders in the years to come.


The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development has recently opened the 3rd round of application for The California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) program. The CCTC is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to locate in California or stay and grow in California. Businesses of any industry, size, or location compete for over $180 million available in tax credits by applying in one of the three application periods each year. Applicants will be analyzed based on twelve different factors of evaluation, including number of full-time jobs being created, amount of investment, and strategic importance to the state or region.
