Monterey Beer Festival. Hurray for Craft Breweries from all over the state of California are getting ready to come to the 20th Annual Monterey Beer Festival, a fundraiser for the Monterey County Fair Heritage Foundation.
A new trend this year at the 2023 Monterey Beer Festival will be the presence of three companies offering hard seltzers, reflecting that segment of the beer industry’s growth in recent years.
California Seltzer Co is locally-owned and hand-crafted in Lodi, California with a new retail location in Pacific Grove at Lover’s Point which also offers pizza, salads, avocado toast and more. Their seltzers are under 100 calories, under 2 grams of sugar and gluten free. Jiant Kombucha will be on site with hard kombuchas are thoughtfully crafted with high-grade green tea, sustainable honey, fresh-brewed botanicals and real fruit. Sierra Nevada will also bring some of its flavorful hard seltzers.
Get creative! Attendees of the Monterey Beer Festival can also enter the Coolest Monterey Beer Festival Necklace Contest.

Use your imagination! Festival-goers are invited to wear their coolest Beer Festival necklace to the Monterey Beer Festival as part of a new contest judged on site at the Festival. The first place winner will receive tickets to the 2023 Monterey Beer Festival and there will be other fun prizes for the 2nd and 3rd place winners, too, including items from Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino.

Jake Nielsen's Triple Threat will be performing at the 2022 Monterey Blues Festival on July 30th at the Monterey Fairgrounds. It’s a perfect band for beer tasting and dancing! The band is a Blues/Rock/Reggae Group from Santa Cruz CA. Jake Nielsen (lead vocals/guitar) David Palmer (vocals/bass) aka cuz Dave) and Kyle Talty (Drums). J.N.has headlined International shows and opened for such acts as Dirty Heads, The Expendables, Ballyhoo, Collie Buds, Hieroglyphics, and RBL Posse.

Advance Discount Tickets now on sale for the 19th Annual Monterey Beer Festival that will be held at the beautiful Monterey County Fair & Event Center on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm. The updated list of breweries on site is below.
Bring your friends, spouse, significant other, uncles, cousins or just come and make some new friends at this friendly fun festival! A not-to-be-missed event for anyone 21 and over, the Monterey Beer Festival benefits the Monterey County Fair Heritage Foundation (a 501c3 non-profit organization – Tax ID #77-0402426).
The Monterey Beer Festival attracted 5,000 attendees in 2019 who enjoyed tasting an array of outstanding beer and food. In addition to many new beers to delight the senses and please your palate this year, the Monterey Beer Festival will feature live entertainment and a DJ, all in a totally fun, relaxed party atmosphere at the beautiful Monterey County Fair & Event Center.

Designated Driver tickets are again available. Designated drivers bring someone to the Festival for the fun but not the alcohol to get you home safely for $25 per person. The Monterey Beer Festival encourages all patrons to drink responsibly.
Breweries stop pouring at 4:00 p.m.
Parking is available on Fairground Road.
All Ticket holders must be 21 and over and show a current ID. Buy your tickets early and enjoy a discount! Donations are tax deductible, (Tax ID # 77-0402426).
