  Just two days later, the celebration continues with the Monterey High School AMP Academy Art Festival! The AMP Academy, a specialized “school within a school,” is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of artists, media producers, and performers. The festival will feature an exciting lineup of student artwork, live music performances by the student band, a theatrical play, and a wearable art fashion show modeled by the students.

  This collaboration between the Edi Matsumoto Art & Design Gallery and the Monterey High School AMP Academy highlights the importance of supporting young talent and fostering a love for the arts within our community. The students' work will be on display at the gallery throughout September, with additional pieces showcased during the festival.
