  The Bubba Pickens Band is a talented group of six local teachers (and one teacher-by-association bassist) who come together to create harmony-driven folk and bluegrass music. Despite their busy schedules, they are always eager to share their love of music with others. Originally formed as a four piece playing folk and bluegrass standards, The Bubba Pickens Band has grown to seven pieces (guitar, upright bass, banjo, dobro, fiddle, mandolin, and accordion!) and their catalog has expanded to include original tunes, bluegrass takes on rock and pop classics, and heartfelt ballads. Their songs are filled with stories of love, loss, and life in the mountains, and their harmonies are tight and authentic. With a sound that is both lively and sincere, The Bubba Pickens Band is a reflection of the group's collective love for music and community. Whether playing at local venues or community events, The Bubba Pickens Band brings a special brand of music that is sure to inspire and delight audiences of all ages.

  Terrace Hour is free and open to the public - no tickets for reservations required; the bar opens at 5:30pm; the show starts at 6:00pm. Food and drinks are allowed, but alcohol must be purchased at the venue. Rain cancels. Terrace Hour is sponsored by KRML.
