Long-renowned for its crown-pleasing weekend brunches, Rio Grill in Carmel will resume the tradition on July 9.
Offered Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the brunch lineup includes the following, with brunch cocktails in development:
- Farmer’s Market Scramble ($20.95) — Three farm-fresh eggs, locally sourced market vegetables (changes weekly), sliced avocado with jack-cheddar cheese and Cajun country potatoes
- Housemade Benedicts served on a butter croissant with two poached eggs, griddled tomato, spinach and smoked paprika hollandaise; tequila-cured salmon ($21.95); herb-brandy-rubbed smoked turkey ($20.95); braised and cured pork belly ($18.95); cast-iron truffle frittata ($18.95); wild foraged mushrooms, spinach, double-cut smoked bacon, jack-cheddar cheese, white truffle oil and Cajun country potatoes
- Rio Breakfast Sandwich ($18.95) — brioche grilled cheese with two over-easy eggs, smoked country ham, asiago cheese, topped with bechamel, served with field greens salad
- Griddled Brioche French Toast ($14.95) — Bruleed bananas, burnt caramel, cinnamon whipped cream
- Fluffy Meyer Lemon-Mascarpone Pancake Stack ($14.95) — Maple syrup, honey-chipotle butter-topped with mixed berry compote
- Smoked Tri-Tip Sweet Potato Hash ($19.95) — Two poached eggs, quinoa, crispy kale, chipotle crema
