Monterey Meetings All Inspired

MSACL 14th Annual Conference & Exhibits

Welcome to Monterey County!

On behalf of our residents and City Council I offer you a warm welcome to all of you attending the MSACL 14th Annual Conference & Exhibits at the incredible Monterey Conference Center. We are delighted to see you and other organization members on the charming Monterey Peninsula. Our vibrant and historic city offers a perfect mix of a small-town feeling with big-city amenities, all within walking distance. Our commitment to our residents to preserve our quality of life means visitors get amenities within walking distance.

Monterey sits adjacent to the magnificent Monterey Bay, a federally protected National Marine Sanctuary. The Monterey coastline can be enjoyed while kayaking, scuba diving, surfing, paddle boarding, or strolling the beach. The Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail along the waterfront is where you can walk, rent a bike or a surrey, and see harbor seals, sea otters, and other wildlife in natural habitats. Spotting a variety of whales and dolphins is commonplace throughout the year.

Downtown Monterey is the historic core of the city featuring an array of restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Wander through historic gardens and adobes along the Path of History. While following this charming path, we hope you spend time enjoying & exploring numerous breweries or wine-tasting venues all within a short walking distance. Every Tuesday afternoon, just across the street, is the popular Farmer’s Market on Alvarado Street, a family favorite, featuring fresh local produce, crafts, and food.

Beyond the bay, we are home to world-renowned golf courses, and hiking trails so diverse, some lead to expansive views of the whole coastline.

We hope you enjoy the conference and have an unforgettable experience in Monterey. We are so pleased to share our home with you. Thank you for doing your part to keep Monterey and the Monterey Bay clean by reducing your use of plastics. Refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle!

Cheers to your visit to Monterey!
