Ballet Hispánico

Presented by Sunset Presents

As America's leading Latino dance organization, Ballet Hispánico has been bringing individuals and communities together to celebrate and explore Latino cultures through dance for more than five decades. With a body of work that is revolutionary and enduring, this groundbreaking company is the epitome of grace and power. Their work serves as a stunning and creative visual statement on the rich and diverse Latinx cultures that have enriched our country. Prepare yourself for an entertaining, vibrant, and awe-inspiring performance!

The organization's founder, National Medal of Arts recipient Tina Ramirez, sought to give voice to the Hispanic experience and break through stereotypes. Today, Ballet Hispánico is led by Eduardo Vilaro, an acclaimed choreographer and former member of the Company, whose vision of social equity, cultural identity, and quality arts education for all drives its programs.

Sunset Center is also honored to have this prestigious Organization participate in Classroom Connections as part of our comprehensive Arts Education Program. By bringing world-class artists into local classrooms, the Classroom Connections initiative has served over 11,000 students in Monterey County, designed to foster imagination, confidence, and a sense of possibility.

Tickets: Level I $79 / Level II $69 / Level III $59
