Entertainment and Food
What's beer without good food and great music? Local food vendors from throughout the area will have booths at the Monterey Beer Festival. Whether you want Thai noodles, Korean or Southern barbecue, California cuisine, Cajun food, fried fish or just a plain old-fashioned bratwurst, there's a booth to feed your need. Live bands including the Chicano All Stars and Jake Nielsen's Triple Threat play throughout the day.
Tickets for the Monterey Beer Festival are $45 in advance, $50 at the door, and includes all beer. VIP Tickets are $70 in advance, $80 at the door and include access to a VIP area with separate restrooms, special beer tastings, complimentary snacks and entry to the main festival. Buy tickets at the Monterey Beer Festival official ticketing website.
Planning to indulge? Don't drive when there are plenty of hotels and motels in Monterey, many within either a short stroll or a quick bus ride from the Monterey Fairgrounds! While other people are still circling the neighborhood for parking, you'll be inside the Monterey Beer Festival enjoying your first drink.
