Shuttle Services

Park in Carmel-by-the-Sea and take a shuttle to Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, August 18 for $40/person (unlimited rides all day) or $20 (one way only). Children under 12 ride free. Shuttles depart every 15-30 minutes (depending on traffic) from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. from Carmel Plaza. Purchase tickets online at Carmel Chamber of Commerce.

The Free Monterey Trolley Shuttle will operate throughout Car Week along its typical route in downtown Monterey.

Friday, August 9

  • 5-7 p.m., Monterey Car Week Kickoff (Free): A remarkable collection of historic race cars line Alvarado Street in Monterey before racing at Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Meet the drivers and enjoy music and giveaways. This is a great family-friendly event.

Saturday, August 10

  • 7 a.m., Monterey Pre-Reunion & Corkscrew HillclimbDay 1 - Drivers of more than 200 historic race cars practice and qualify for racing on Sunday. The Corkscrew Hillclimb ends the day by drivers going reverse course and up the iconic turn. This is a great chance for fans to get up close to these unique cars, and a special exhibition by Bonhams of cars offered at its auction. Tickets required.

Sunday, August 11

  • 7 a.m., Monterey Pre-Reunion & Corkscrew Hillclimb: Day 2 - The 11 different groups race twice before prepping their cars for the following Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Bonhams displays a selection of classic cars that will be offered at its world-class auction. The day ends with the Corkscrew Hillclimb, allowing fans to enjoy seeing the cars race against the clock up the iconic Corkscrew. Tickets required.

Monday, August 12

  • 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Automobilia Collectors Expo: Day 1 - Explore an exquisite collection of automotive memorabilia from vintage posters to rare collectibles and meet fellow enthusiasts and experts in the field. An exciting Car Display will take place at our Pit Stop! Tickets required.
  • 4-8 p.m., Porsche Monterey Classic Event: From vintage beauties to modern masterpieces, witness the evolution of Porsche's iconic designs, plus enjoy live music, delicious food trucks, local artisans and refreshing beverages.

  • Central Coast Poker Rally: Enjoy the scenery of the Monterey Peninsula from your sports car during this unique rally, where you'll make five stops to collect poker hands, including laps at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, indulge in delicious food and drinks and receive complimentary gifts.   • 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Concours for a Cause: A voyage around the world celebrated through vintage cars, music and local arts.

  • 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Automobilia Collectors Expo: Day 2 - Continue your journey through automotive history with special displays and live interviews. Don't miss our unique exhibits and the chance to add rare pieces to your collection. Tickets required.

  • 1-5 p.m., Classic Motorsports Monterey Kickoff Car Showf (Free): The Classic Motorsports Kickoff Car Show is once again returning beautiful Pacific Grove for 2024! Hundreds of classic sports cars and vintage and exotic automobiles line up along Lighthouse Avenue. Sponsored by Classic Motorsports Magazine.

  • 7 a.m., Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion: Day 1 - Celebrating 50 years of historic racing, the Reunion is a museum revving to life with hundreds of historic and period-correct race and sports cars from nearly every era. Drivers race in corresponding run groups in an attempt to tame the challenging iconic racetrack before thousands of enthusiastic fans. Tickets required.

  • 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Automobilia Collectors Expo: Day 3 - Join us for the final day as we wrap up with more interactive experiences and last-minute finds. It's your last chance to enjoy the expo's offerings and make those final purchases. Tickets required.

  • 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.Pebble Beach Auctions: Viewing Day 1 - The Pebble Beach Auctions host the world’s foremost car collectors, buyers and sellers, offering car collectors the opportunity to not only see but acquire automobiles of impeccable quality, design, and provenance.

  • 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Astons on the Avenue (Free): Set against the stunning backdrop of Carmel-by-the-Sea's Ocean Avenue, this event showcases the finest Aston Martins of all makes and models, epitomizing automotive excellence.

  • Noon - 5 p.m., The Little Car Show (Free): A parade of vintage mini, micro, electric, steam and arcane vehicles down Pacific Grove's main thoroughfare, beautiful Lighthouse Avenue -  a great opportunity for photographers!

  • 6-10 p.m., Motorlux - Share in a passion for vintage race cars, state-of-the-art aircrafts, supercars, gourmet food and the best of California’s wines at Monterey Jet Center for the ultimate celebration of automotive beauty and exquisite aircrafts. Tickets required.

  • 4 p.m., Pebble Beach Motoring Classic (Free): Participants embark on an epic 9-day journey to the ultimate destination in Pebble Beach.   • 7 a.m., Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion: Day 2 - Celebrating the 50th anniversary of historic racing in Monterey, more than 400 authentic cars are on track racing like they were built to do. Today is qualifying for each of the 13 groups. Tickets required.

  • 7 a.m. - Noon, Pebble Beach Tour D'Elegance (Free): An exhibition of elegance in motion featuring 150+ Concours entrants seeking to prove they are roadworthy and gain an advantage in the Concours as they trace a scenic route on Highway 1.

  • 8 a.m., Mecum Monterey AuctionDay 1 - A range of automobiles from prewar classics and vintage muscle cars to luxury and high-end exotics, modern supercars, and more, along with approximately 100 vintage and antique motorcycles. Tickets Required.

  • 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Ferrari Owners Club Concours Carmel (Free): Vintage and contemporary Ferraris and Italian motorcycles are judged for originality and functionality on 4 blocks Ocean and Dolores. DJ with music and interviews of owners of the vehicles concluding with class awards.

  • 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Legends Of The Autobahn® presented by Continental Tire (Free): An all-German marque Concours d’Elegance held in beautiful Seaside, California. Legends is hosted by the BMW Car Club of America, the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, and the Audi Club of North America. The annual concours event offer both corral and judged areas, awards for all three featured marques, and an open class for all other German-made cars. 

  • 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Pebble Beach Classic Car Forum: Day 1 - Join car conversations with automotive leaders and legends to discuss some of the most interesting topics facing the collector car world today.

  • 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., Pebble Beach RetroAuto (Free): Day 1 - A highly curated selection of rare collectibles and memorabilia from the automotive past, to the latest luxury goods and technological tools of the present.

  • 7 a.m., Rolex Monterey Motorsports ReunionDay 3 - More than 400 historic race cars rev up and race throughout the day. Complementing the racing is a wide range of Monterey wines and craft beers, go karts and activities for kids (15 and under are free with an adult). It is a museum revving to life.

The Rally Drive follows a scenic route along the magnificent Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach shoreline. The Rally Drive leaves Lighthouse Avenue at 5 p.m.

Saturday, August 17

  • 7 a.m., Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion: Day 4 - The world’s most historic and rarest cars compete in the Rolex Races, making it a museum revving to life. Stage presentations, legendary drivers and a 50th anniversary exhibition that celebrates the past featured marques that provide access into history one can only read about, much less see in person. Tickets required.

  • 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Concours d'Lemons (Free): Back again to ruin Monterey Car Week, the Concours d'Lemons has become the "Must Do" event of the week. Crappy cars, lots of laughs and celebrity judges. It doesn't get much better/worse. Celebrating the Oddball, Mundane and Truly Awful of the automotive world!

  • 1-6 p.m., Exotics on Broadway (Free): This unique event is focused entirely on the Super, Hyper and Exotic Car phenomenon. Exotics on Broadway showcases some of the most rare and exciting cars of our time alongside the companies and brands that can take these cars to the next level in performance and showmanship. The 2024 Featured Marque will be Koenigsegg Automotive AB, as they will be celebrating their 30th anniversary with a unique exhibit for all to experience.

  • 2-10 p.m., Monterey Motorsports Festival: This festival showcases amazing cars and offers enthusiasts the opportunity to engage in workshops, racing simulators, interviews and autograph sessions with automotive personalities. The event will feature the best of live music and local food at the food truck village, things to do for kids and vendors.

  • 4-7 p.m., Ferrari Event at The Barnyard: A gathering of vintage and new model Ferraris in the beautiful gardens of The Barnyard with curated wine tastings and small bites. The annual event is both curated by and benefitting The Big Sur Food & Wine Foundation.
