The 2026 Carmel Guitar Society Concert Series presents rising classical guitarist Kaz Hudson in a special live performance on the Monterey Bay. As an emerging artist gaining recognition for his expressive depth and stylistic range, Kaz brings a fresh and evolving voice to the classical guitar.
Rooted in tradition while exploring a wide range of musical influences, his playing reflects both technical command and a strong artistic perspective. His work has been featured by Peninsula Guitar Series, and NPR’s From the Top, and he is a prize winner in multiple international competitions.
Currently studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with Meng Su, Kaz represents the next generation of classical guitar—inviting both longtime listeners and new audiences into an immersive and emotionally resonant live experience.
