Celebrate Women's History at Asilomar

Join Asilomar to celebrate Women’s History Month, a space originally created to empower women and build community! This year’s *free* festivities include a keynote address by Dr. Kathryn Davis: "Fearless Curiosity: Reclaiming the Legacy of California's Women Scientists and Explorers". This talk highlights remarkable Northern California women in the 19th and mid-20th centuries who made groundbreaking contributions to science and geographic exploration. Embrace the spirit of the women of the 1920s by learning vintage YWCA-era dances in free workshops (1920s period attire encouraged!) Take a guided tour of Asilomar’s Historic Core buildings designed by California’s first female architect, Julia Morgan. RSVPs required for the keynote address and dance workshops.
