The Pocket in Carmel-by-the-Sea will host its third annual Feed the Soul charity event on Friday, Dec. 12, benefiting the Food Bank for Monterey County in its mission to end hunger and promote nutrition throughout the region.

While Monterey County is known as the “Salad Bowl of the World,” it continues to face one of the highest rates of food insecurity in California. Last year’s event raised more than $130,000 to provide meals and resources for local families, and this year’s fundraiser aims to surpass that milestone — with 100% of proceeds going directly to the Food Bank.

Led by Executive Chef Mike Fischetti, a James Beard House–featured chef, the evening will feature chef-curated food stations, local wine and libations, interactive entertainment, and a silent auction with exclusive items. The event is both a vital fundraiser and a celebration of compassion and community spirit.

Supporters can contribute by becoming vendor partners, donating auction items, or purchasing tickets. All contributions to the Food Bank are tax-deductible.
