Jefferson Starship

Founded by Paul Kantner in 1974, Jefferson Starship has carried forward the spirit of Jefferson Airplane, the legendary band that helped define the San Francisco sound of the 1960s and headlined Woodstock. With a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame pedigree, Jefferson Starship has endured for over 40 years as one of rock’s most iconic bands.

The current lineup features co-founder David Freiberg (Quicksilver Messenger Service, Jefferson Airplane), powerhouse drummer Donny Baldwin (Elvin Bishop Band, Jerry Garcia Band), keyboardist Chris Smith (with the band since 1998), Grammy-nominated vocalist Cathy Richardson (portraying the historic role pioneered by Grace Slick), and acclaimed guitarist Jude Gold. Together, they keep the band’s rich legacy alive, performing timeless hits like “Jane,” “Somebody to Love,” and “White Rabbit” while continuing to inspire new generations of fans worldwide.
