17-Mile Drive

17-Mile Drive

One of the most scenic drives on the Monterey Peninsula, and quite possibly the world, resides behind the prestigious gates of Pebble Beach, California. The famed 17-Mile Drive is a breathtaking stretch of roadway that hugs the Pacific coastline, featuring awe-inspiring points of interest including The Lone Cypress (one of the most photographed trees in North America!) and the world-renowned Pebble Beach Golf Links.

While there's a small fee to enter ($12 per vehicle), the views are well worth it. Pro tip: the gate fee is reimbursed with a purchase of $35 or more at all Pebble Beach Resorts.
