Why suffer the stress of trying to please everyone's palate this Thanksgiving? Start a new tradition with a family Thanksgiving meal at one of Monterey County's best restaurants. All of these offerings take place Thursday, November 22, 2018.

Big Sur

Have a memorable Thanksgiving dinner surrounded by fantastic scenery at the Big Sur River Inn Restaurant. Dishes include herb roasted turkey with all of the sides and a variety of desserts. $55 for adults, $15 for children under 12. Call 831-667-2700 to reserve.

Get your turkey and all its fixings at Anton & Michel. In addition to their regular dinner menu they are offering a three-course Thanksgiving dinner which includes items like butternut squash bisque, roasted turkey with cornbread stuffing and pumpkin cheesecake. 12pm-8pm. $45 for adults and $23 for children 12 and under. Mission Ranch Restaurant hosts a three-course Thanksgiving feast to ease your appetite. Entree options include salmon Wellington, roasted leg of lamb or free range turkey. $58 for adults and $25 for children 10 and under. Call 831-625- 9040 to reserve; there is a 3-day cancellation policy.

Aubergine at L'Auberge Carmel offers a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving Day. Seatings run from 2pm-9pm, $185 per person. Call 831-624-8578 to reserve. 

Carmel Highlands

Pacific’s Edge Restaurant at the Hyatt Carmel Highlands offers an amazing buffet menu including artisan cheeses, slow-roasted turkey, dry-aged prime rib, pumpkin soup, pumpkin pie and more. Dinner served 4pm-8pm. $95 for adults, does not include gratuity. Call 831-622-5445 to reserve.

Carmel Valley

Bernardus Lodge hosts a delicious gourmet Thanksgiving Day buffet. Dine on traditional Thanksgiving favorites made with sustainably sourced, local and organic produce and naturally raised meats, as well as several special creations from Chef Cal Stamenov. The buffet is served from 11am-3pm and is $95 for adults, $32 for children ages 5-12 and free for children under 4. Call 831-658-3400 to reserve.

Enjoy a farm-to-table type of Thanksgiving meal this year at the Clubhouse at Carmel Valley Ranch. Chef Tim Wood serves up a buffet style feast featuring apple cider brined Diestel turkey breast, thyme and sage stuffing, pumpkin pie and much more. 12pm-3pm, $85 for adults, $40 for children 5-12 and free for children 5 and under. Let Edgar's at Quail do the cooking this Thanksgiving as they host a festive a la carte menu with special items like free range turkey, slow roast prime rib and pumpkin pie as well as their regular menu. Lunch and dinner will be served 11am-8pm. Call 866-620-8910 for reservations. 


Don’t stress over cooking the perfect Thanksgiving dinner this year, instead start a “grand” new tradition. Portola is offering a traditional thanksgiving feast in their Grand Ballroom complete with a spectacular display featuring California cheeses and cured meats, carved to order turkey, prime rib and maple glazed country ham, traditional thanksgiving fare, and a decadent dessert display with classic pumpkin and pecan pie. 12pm-7pm. $54.95 for adults, $39.95 for seniors, $25.95 for children ages 6-12 and children 5 and under eat free. Jacks Monterey offers a three course prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner in addition to their regular menu. Highlights include turkey and gravy with mashed potatoes and pecan pie. 11:30am-11pm. $34.95 per person. For reservations call 831-649-7874.

Get the most bang for your buck this Thanksgiving at Peter B's Brewpub. Not only can you enjoy some delicious craft brews but they are offering a full-on turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie! 11am-11pm. $18.95 per plate. The regular menu will also be available. 

TusCA Ristorante will serve an incredible Thanksgiving Day Buffet and provide jazz entertainment for the evening. Reservations are available from 1pm-7pm. Jazz will be from 6pm-9pm. Price is $58 for adults, $25 for children age 6-12 and children age 5 and under eat free. The Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa is offering an impressive Thanksgiving buffet from 12pm-6pm in the Monterey Bay Ballroom. The sumptuous buffet offers dozens of items including a seafood display, sage roasted turkey, slow roasted Angus New York strip loin, and more, in addition to stunning ocean front vistas. Just down Cannery Row, the C Restaurant + Bar at The InterContinental the Clement Monterey offers a delectable prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner menu with a great ocean view. The three-course Thanksgiving menu will include Diestel Farms Turkey and other entree options. Dinner will be served 5:30pm-10pm. $85 without wine pairings and $125 with wine pairings for adults and $45 for children ages 5-12. A Thanksgiving lunch menu and regular dining menus will also be available. Call 831-375-4800 to reserve.

The Sardine Factory offers a special four-course prix fixe Thanksgiving menu featuring harvest corn soup, fresh all natural roast Diestal turkey with sides and choice of dessert. 1pm-9pm. $52.95 for adults, $49.95 for seniors 62 and older, $25 for children under 12 and free for children under 5. Estéban restaurant at the historic Casa Munras Garden Hotel & Spa hosts a delicious family style Thanksgiving dinner with items like Monterey abalone, roasted turkey, brioche stuffing, apple pie and more. Pacific Grove

Fandango Restaurant’s great Thanksgiving menu includes duckling pate, Basque salad and a choice of entrees including roasted turkey, lamb tenderloin, grilled salmon, honey glazed baked ham, tortellini and a variety of traditional desserts. 12pm-8pm, $42.95 for adults, $16.50 for children 12 and under. Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove invites you over for a large Thanksgiving spread and beautiful views. The bountiful buffet includes an array of items including a Monterey Bay seafood salad, maple glazed ham, free range Diestel turkey, prime rib, pumpkin pie and pear crisp. The menu will be served 12pm-6pm followed by live music and a bonfire from 6pm-9pm. $53 (and 10% service fee) for adults and $27 (and 10% service fee) for children. Pebble Beach

Let the world-renowned chefs at Pebble Beach Resorts prepare a sumptuous buffet of traditional Thanksgiving fare. Located at The Inn at Spanish Bay, menu highlights include traditional holiday fare carving stations, seasonal salads, cheese compositions, sweet treats and more. 12pm-5pm. $90 for adults, $30 for children ages 5-12 and complimentary for children under 4. Leave the cooking and cleaning to the team at Silver Tide Bar & Grill at Embassy Suites Monterey Bay Seaside.
